Sawtell Easter Camp 2010

Facebook is buzzing with RCI Sawtell Easter Camp photos etc. It was a great time with about 250 people coming from as far as Hobart. We heard many different idea's from the scriptures on the camp theme of Unity highlighting Ephesians 4:3 the Unity of the Spirit. Most importantly unity starts with yoU and is your common union with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The camp was generally a kick back and relax time which included State of Origin football, jetty jumping, coffee shops and late nights. See you there next year.

Tasmanian Christmas Camp

Once again, the local Tasmanian saints were very blessed to have wonderful extra fellowship provided by many, many visiting mainland centre saints at their annual RCI Christmas Camp held at Orford, Tasmania, 2009-2010.

Here are the Launceston saints bringing their item - 'Go Forth.'

This is David showing his 'glitzy and glamourous' hair at the Glitz and Glamour-themed evening. Well done, David, pretty sure you got the 'most striking hair-do' prize there.

There were items aplenty for the enjoyment of all after long days out and about.

Some very happy Melbourne visitors enjoying the evening of G and G!

Fellowship for all ages, some keen, some not so keen.

Some ventured far and wide to visit places like Shipstern Bluff, as seen here.

Townsville Outreach creates interest in Queensland Rally

Townsville band 'Theos' created interest on Saturday by playing a selection of music whilst folks handed out personal invitations for the up coming Queensland Rally being held May 3-4 at Riverway.

It was the band's first public performance and they generated plenty of interest from visitors to the Riverway Centre. Next weekend sees 'Theos' as well as the Mackay band, 'To that Effect' provide the prelude to a full weekend of Rally activities including presentations by Moss Murray and Pastor John Andrews with visitors attending from Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Mackay assemblies.

It took 16 days and we saw a lot. Pastor David Manley (NZ) and me travel from Brisbane to Port Moresby to Mt Hagen to Wewak to Aitape to Lae to Popdendetta to Waga Waga and then back to Port Moresby.

So what did we get up to, meetings, fellowship, baptisms, more meetings, plane flights (12 in total) outreaches, visiting new halls, talking with oversight, visiting saints, praying for folk. All the normal things you do when to go to PNG.
